Flash Arcade

Games / Solo · desktop recommended

The Flash Arcade preserves a different kind of browser experience: games originally built as SWF files. The deployed catalogue currently contains sixty-nine entries and opens them through Ruffle. Emulation does not mean every title behaves exactly as it did in the original Flash player. Keyboard-heavy games are generally easier on a desktop, and a title may need you to click inside the stage before it receives input.

How to get started

  1. Search the catalogue by game name and open an entry.
  2. Allow the player to finish loading, then click inside the game area before using its keys.
  3. If a title does not work, report its exact catalogue name and what happened after loading.

A useful limitation

A working library and a downloadable SWF do not prove that every game is compatible. The audit checked the catalogue and one game asset, not all sixty-nine playthroughs.

What happens to your data

Games are served by this project. The Ruffle runtime loads from a third-party CDN; the browser therefore connects to that CDN to start the player.

Latest check

69 catalogue entries returned, and one 2.5 MB SWF asset loaded. Checked October 3, 2026.

This is a dated observation, not a continuous uptime promise. Individual inputs or game sessions may behave differently.
